マニラ椰子

ここに到着して最初にチェックインしたお部屋の前にマニラ椰子がありました。椰子の中でも、こんなに小さな実をつける種類です。この実はクリスマスに向かって赤くなっていくのだそうで、別名クリスマス椰子と言われます。

ピンクのさやの中に若い実ができていて、それが徐々に出てくるところが調度見られました。
