Earth is my Passion

Design yourself for you time on the earth

How many internet posts must they read before you call them humans? The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind. The answer is blowing in the wind.

Birding

You need not prepare anything to enjoy the nature. You are in it anyway. Open the window. Step outside. It’s there. You just have to use your senses.

The sound of birds is just one sound the earth makes. A bird makes different sounds during the day, during each of four seasons. Such a tiny thing, but it migrates from low to high land, or from north to South, beyond the borders, using the wings, eyes sometimes talons or other tools it gets.

Haiku

You can write poetry in the Japanese tradition. Haiku is the world’s shortest poetry, but also the most popular form of poetry today.

What is it about haiku that I like so much? When you start writing haiku, you will see the world with “haiku eyes”. You see and your mind takes a snapshot of everything around us. You will also know everything is connected to everybody somehow without knowing.

Wellness

Shizuoka

Born in Kanagawa, but I moved to the Philippines to Tokyo to the Philippines then Shizuoka after I fell head over heels in love with a man in Shizuoka. It is only 1-hour Shinkansen ride away from Tokyo, but it is a different prefecture indeed.

There must be something in the air or water, or lack thereof. In Tokyo, drinking tap water is frowned upon but here, tap water feels sweet to my tongue and mild to my skin. People are mild mannered and occasionally producing the self-deprecating jokes, which probably distantly related to the defeat of House of Imagawa during the Sengoku warring state period in Japan.

Rich in nature and not overly crowed, I love being in Shizuoka.
