牧之原のお茶畑

山の畑に行く途中、お茶畑がバイパスの拡張工事のため、無残に掘り起こされたお茶の木の断面が見えました。

お茶の郷と呼ばれる牧之原で大切に育てられるお茶。普段は葉で覆われている枝や根っこが、こんなにはっきりと見えるのは珍しい光景です。
