狗尾草｜エノコログサ

わたしが育った川崎市でもネコじゃらしはよく見られました。さして珍しくもない野草だと思っていましたが、山の畑にもいました。

花穂の部分でネコの首のあたりをくすぐってあげたり、目の前で振るとじゃれついて喜ぶのでネコじゃらしと言うそうです。本当の名前は「エノコログサ」傍で見るとこんなにかわいい花穂でした。
